A Navy navigator is shot down over enemy territory and is ruthlessly pursued by a secret police enforcer and the opposing troops. Meanwhile his commanding officer goes against orders in an attempt to rescue him.

Behind Enemy Lines is a 2001 action and war film directed by John Moore, and starring Gene Hackman and Owen Wilson. The film is centered on the story of an American naval flight officer who was shot down over Bosnia and ends up uncovering a massacre during the Bosnian conflict.
